CHILL Hockey will be holding formal tryouts for its 2024-25 Season teams as follows. Registration and payment of tryout fees are due prior to attendance.

Note for U18 and U16 Prep Elite: Players who register for the U16 Prep Elite program and are unsuccessful in obtaining a spot will be automatically registered for U18 tryouts, there is no need to double register for U18 if you’re also trying out for U16 Prep Elite.  For those solely interested in the U18 program, you must register directly for that program only.

 

• NAPHL U16 PREP ELITE PROGRAM: Open to players with birth years of 2008 & 2009 and limited 2007's.  They will play as part of the North American Prep Hockey League (“NAPHL”), level is considered AA/AAA

  • Sun April 28th 3:30-5:00pm at Appleby Ice Centre (Rink 3): All participants

  • Wed May 1st 9:30-10:30pm at Mainway Ice Centre (Rink 2): All participants

  • Sat May 4th 7:00-8:30pm at Mainway Ice Centre (Rink 2): ALL PARTICIPANTS

  • Sun May 5th 8:00-9:30pm at Mainway Ice Centre (Rink 1): Game, by invite only**

  • Mon May 13th 6:00-7:00pm at Appleby Ice Centre (Rink 3): ALL PARTICIPANTS

• ORHL U18 PROGRAM: Open to players with birth years of 2007, 2008 & 2009 and will play as part of the Ontario Rep Hockey League (“ORHL”), level is considered A/AA, with selected non-ORHL tournaments

  • Sat April 27th 7:00pm at Shield Athletics & Sports Therapy Centre: on-ice development with Shield Performance instructors (our 2024-25 CHILL Hockey development partners)

  • Sun May 5th 7:00-8:00pm at Mainway Ice Centre (Rink 1): All participants

  • Thu May 9th 9:30-10:30pm at Mainway Ice Centre (Rink 1): All participants

  • Sun May 12th 4:00-5:00pm at Mainway Ice Centre (Rink 1): By invite only

 

• ORHL/NAPHL U15 PROGRAM: Open to players with birth years of 2010 & 2011 and will play as part of the ORHL, level is considered A/AA, with select events in the NAPHL.
