As we prepare for the sixth season of CHILL Hockey, we'd just like to take a moment and publicly thank all of the Players & Families that skated with us during our fifth season. The 2020-21 season was supposed to be a season of celebration and our biggest, best season yet as we entered our 5th year of the organization. We had big plans and third jerseys and so much excitement to mark our 5th amazing season. While it was a season we won't soon forget it wasn't for the reasons we wanted it to be. So we turn the page on a disappointing 2020-21 and we are only looking forward with high hopes for making the 2021-22 season everything we wanted last year to be.
The start to this season will again not look like a typical CHILL Hockey season as we usually run a spring tryout, an early summer fitting for gear and then get started on the ice right after Labour Day. We are going to have to condense all of that into a busy time of year with the end of summer and beginning of school year running in parallel. Registration will open on the site this weekend as we are confident we will be icing a Novice, 2 Bantam and Midget teams. However we ask that anyone interested in CHILL Hockey for the upcoming season, use our registration system to so we can get the coaches in contact with you. If there is enough interest in age groups we are not planning to run, the opportunity is there for additional teams.
Registration will open Saturday and teams will be selected in a short time frame. Our most established teams start skating on August 23rd and All teams will be on the ice the weekend of August 28th.
